Reading Update 4.9.19 | Brandon Sanderson Has My Soul...
Hey hi hello friends, and welcome back to my blog!
So insomnia struck me hard last night, like really hard. I tried to fall asleep until about 3:30 in the morning, and then I gave up. I put on my sandals and went down to my dorm lobby to read The Well of Ascension. I was so absorbed into the book that I didn't realize I was sitting in my favorite armchair in front of the fireplace of the lobby for six hours. I looked up and saw the sun rise. Oops? On the bright side, I FINISHED The Well of Ascension! I read 400 pages in six hours, I think that's a new record for me, especially since it's an adult high fantasy.
So, 5 stars as always to the Mistborn trilogy. I swear, I am so happy that my BookTube friends told me to read this series. Once again, I will post my Goodreads review at the end of the month.
Now I have to decide what to read next. I'm debating between That Inevitable Victorian Thing by E.K. Johnston, The Secret History by Donna Tartt, and Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor. Let me know on Twitter? I'll have a poll on my account, @allyemreads.
Okay, I think that's all I have for today. Until next time!
