My Entire Physical TBR | 2023 Edition

Hey hi hello friends, and happy 2023!

Another year is here! I'm hoping and praying with all my might that 2023 is better than 2022. I need it to be, seriously.

Anyway, today I want to show you all the books on my physical TBR. These are books that I own, but haven't read yet. I try to always keep my TBR under 50 books, just because I don't really have the funds to buy a ton of books that I'm not guaranteed to love. I'd rather only have amazing (to me) books on my limited shelf space, you know what I mean?

So according to Goodreads, there are 52 books on my "own-tbr" shelf. However, this also includes the unread manga I have, which I won't be counting on this list since I don't collect manga in order and therefore it seems silly to point out that I have volumes 3 and 4 of one series but not the first two, because obviously I can't read the volumes I have until I read the volumes I don't. So no manga will be on this list, but if you're desperate to know what manga volumes I haven't read yet, feel free to check out my Goodreads shelf.

Without the manga, I have 34 books on my physical TBR. That's probably the lowest it's ever been since I've started blogging. Also, in case you're wondering, I have a grand total of 501 books on my physical shelves. So only 7% of my books are unread, that's so low! I'm feeling very good about that (again, not including manga).

This will just be a list of all of my TBR books. I will of course be separating them between standalones and series, and they'll also be in alphabetical order by author, because that's how I sort them on my shelves. I will also be putting my nonfiction TBR in its own section, because I do have a lot of nonfiction books waiting to be read.

Alright, let's just get into it!

==========

Alright, those are all the books on my physical TBR! I know there are a decent number that are leftovers from last year (or multiple years...I'm looking at you, Jonathan Strange. This is the year you will be read, mark my words!) but most of them are actually pretty new to my TBR, so I'm not too mad about this.

Do you think I'll be able to read all of these this year? That's my goal, anyway. I hope I can!

How many books do you have on your physical TBR? Let me know in the comments below, or DM on Instagram.

Until next time, friends!
