Update 1/12/19: I'm Back At School!!

Hey hi hello friends! How is your January going so far?

Today was move-in day for college, and I'm all moved in and ready for classes to start on Monday morning. It literally only took about an hour and a half to unpack everything, I definitely didn't overpack this time (a problem I had the past two times I've moved up to school).

On the drive up to campus, I was reading War of the Wives by Tamar Cohen. It's about these two women that find out they were actually married to the same man, on the day of his funeral. Talk about traumatic, am I right? I got about 60% through with it before we got to campus, and unfortunately I couldn't keep it up here with me to finish it as it was a library book. I'm sure I can find it on e-book or audiobook though. It's pretty interesting, and I was actually pretty upset when I realized I wasn't going to be able to finish it before I got up to school. I'm not usually an adult-romance/thriller reader, but after my mom told me the premise I was hooked. There are definitely some cringe-worthy moments in it though. I was screaming like a pterodactyl pretty much the entire drive up. My mom found it amusing; my dad, who was driving, did not. Oops.

So now I'm all moved in, currently typing this from my dorm-room desk. I have a single room this year, which is sooo nice. I love having all of the extra space. This is what my dorm room looks like:
Along with some more canvas decorations around the room. I might be getting a roommate (my girlfriend doesn't get along with her current roommates and might move in with me), but I'm relishing my solitude.

So now I have tonight and tomorrow to really prepare for classes. I think mostly I'm just going to work on some German homework early on, because that was definitely my downfall with German last year was waiting until the last minute to do the homework. It's a good thing it's almost always online, with the exception of some essays to write further down the semester.

It's hard to tell in the photograph, but I only brought five books up here with me. I know! I can hardly believe it myself. If you want to know which books I brought up with me, here's the video where I talk about it:

Okay, I think that's all for now! I will probably do some filming tomorrow, before I am completely swamped by college work. Until next time!
